Artist Statement
I am a blessed artist because I found in visual art a way to communicate everything I feel without reservation.
I follow in the footsteps of the great masters of the Baroque and Renaissance periods, yet I create my own world, filled with characters in wigs, dreams, and modern elements like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and other cryptocurrencies.
I also represent objects that symbolize material wealth and intangible spiritual means.
My abstract paintings, based on studies of the sky, give my works a unique depth. I also see and depict animals as the kings and queens of every home.
For me, wigs represent the thoughts people have, and sometimes these wigs take on a life of their own.
My paintings and artworks invite you to an intimate conversation in my studio, perhaps over a glass of champagne.
My professional background in banking likely inspired my interest in cryptocurrencies and other modern models of exchange. Additionally, as a lyric singer specializing in Baroque music, I bring to my art not only color and technique but also deep layers of meaning that cannot be explained in words but must be expressed in my creations.
Many of my paintings and sculptures have been acquired by private collectors from different parts of the world.
BIOgraphy
I was born on June 3rd, with roots in the vibrant porteño neighbourhood of San Telmo in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the serene landscapes of Lucerne, Switzerland. My dual heritage has profoundly influenced my artistic journey, blending the passionate energy of Argentina with the precision and timeless beauty of Switzerland.
At the age of 8, I began private drawing and painting classes, an early spark that ignited my lifelong love for visual arts. Despite my passion for art, I chose to study business in college, pursuing a stable and secure career path. This decision led me to work in banking and finance for over 15 years.
Years later, I rekindled my creative side, setting up a visual art studio at home and taking private classes to deepen my artistic practice. My mentors in this renewed artistic journey include Olena Vavourakis (a curator, dealer, and visual arts teacher in Switzerland), Dr. Antonio García Villarán (a renowned artist and educator in Spain), and Cynthia Goldbarg (a teacher specializing in sculpture, pouring techniques, and alcohol ink in Argentina).
