This work explores wigs and masks not just as ornaments, but as theatrical devices that hide, reveal, and reinvent the self. Every curl, symbol, and fragment of collage hints at the secrets we carry and the roles we perform — from the elegance of courtly aesthetics to today’s digital personas.

Between humor and tension, the piece invites viewers to question where authenticity ends and performance begins. Layers of oil paint evoke classical grandeur, while the collage elements disrupt the scene, exposing the contradictions behind beauty, spectacle, and the stories we choose to show.
