For years, the Baroque wig has been one of the central symbols within Painting Queen\u2019s visual universe. It represents power, constructed identity, artifice, and theatricality\u2014an elaborate architecture of hair that once embodied status, authority, and representation.<\/p>\n

Mit Relikte einer Krone wird dieses Symbol nicht aufgegeben, sondern verwandelt.<\/p>\n

The series marks a new chapter in the artist\u2019s practice. The wig is no longer depicted explicitly but begins to emerge from the very substance of the painting itself. Layers of oil paint, glazes, translucent passages, and eroded surfaces reveal images that seem to surface slowly, as though time itself had almost erased them.<\/p>\n

Die Formen bewegen sich zwischen Pr\u00e4senz und Abwesenheit. Das Fig\u00fcrliche l\u00f6st sich auf, ohne vollst\u00e4ndig zu verschwinden, und er\u00f6ffnet den Betrachtenden Raum f\u00fcr eigene Erinnerungen und Assoziationen.<\/p>\n
